Description

A capture the flag map for a player competing against AI to capture a flag three times. If the enemy team captures the flag three times before the player, the player loses the game.

Design Goals
Team Based Gameplay
  • Game encourages players to work together
  • Open map allows players to see how well their team is doing
Movement
  • Shape of map encourages continuous movement toward reaching objective
Design Process
Map is designed to encourage movement with its circular design. The NPC's also force the player to move around the map to avoid being killed. Two areas provide opportunities to step away from enemy fire, regroup and decide upon their move next.
